I can't believe how long it has taken for my Zeiss 24mm to be delivered to my UK dealership. I purchased a Sony Nex 5 back in February and have been waiting four months! Very tempted to sell the camera and buy something else.
I sympathise with the earthquake disaster but why is there such a delay, can't Zeiss help the situation?
I have since been told by my dealer that after many varying dates, that the lens could be delivered by July/August!
Having noticed that the LCD screen was starting to blister (the outer layer was becoming separated from the screen) it has now gone away for repair! Having checked out this now common and expensive fault on the internet, it has shaken my confidence in this terrific product. So will now consider replacement! Sad as I notice that the LCD problem effects many other models, even the 7 range!
